ざっくりとした厚みのある麻生地で、未使用のまま残されていたものです。
赤い糸で織り込まれた模様やイニシャルは、昔の暮らしの中で使われていた名残。
「ES」のイニシャルが刺繍されています。
食器を拭いたり、籠に掛けたり、テーブルの上に敷いたりと、実用と飾りを兼ねて使われていました。
素朴な中に凛とした雰囲気があり、木の家具や古い器ともよく合います。
手織りならではの織りむらやネップ、小さな保管シミなどが見られる場合があります。

An old handwoven linen kitchen cloth with red cross-stitch embroidery.
Made from thick, textured linen and preserved unused for many years.
The woven red patterns and initials reflect traces of everyday life from the past.
The initials “ES” are embroidered on the cloth.
Originally used for drying dishes, covering baskets, or laid across a table as both a practical and decorative textile.
Its simple yet dignified appearance pairs beautifully with wooden furniture and old ceramics.
