チャコールグレーにやわらかなピンクを合わせた配色は、クラシックでありながら現代の空間にも自然になじみます。少し不揃いなフリンジや織り目の凹凸からは、手織りならではの温もりが感じられます。

ポーランド北東部・ポドラシェ地方のヤノフ村では、18世紀頃から「二重織」という特別な織りの技法が受け継がれてきました。
鳥や木、花、馬など、自然や暮らしの風景をモチーフにした素朴で詩的な図柄は、ヤノフ織ならではの魅力です。

【Description】
This piece features two squirrels facing each other beneath a cherry-like pink Tree of Life motif. Woven by Łucyna Kędzielska, it is a Janów weaving with soft colors that beautifully suit the atmosphere of early summer.
The combination of charcoal gray and gentle pink creates a palette that feels both classic and contemporary, blending naturally into modern interiors. The slightly uneven fringe and subtle texture of the weave reflect the warmth and character of true handwoven work.
 
About Janów Weaving
In the village of Janów, located in the Podlasie region of northeastern Poland, a special weaving technique known as “double weave” has been passed down since the 18th century.
Its poetic folk motifs — birds, trees, flowers, horses, and scenes from everyday life — are among the most distinctive charms of traditional Janów textiles.
